Rukan Naava – peaceful ski-in cabin with sauna and fireplace

Rukan Naava is the quiet nest of the Ruka Nest collection — a calm and cozy ski-in cabin inspired by the soft lichen of the northern forest. It is made for peaceful mornings, easy ski days and slow evenings after time outdoors. The cabin is compact, warm and practical. Downstairs includes a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom, bathroom, private sauna and separate toilet. The loft provides additional sleeping space for three guests. Rukan Naava is located in central Ruka Vuosseli, close to slopes and restaurants, yet peacefully set on its own plot among the pines.

• Bed linen and towels are available on request for 25 € per person, per stay. This fee may be charged separately depending on booking channel.
• Well-behaved pets are welcome.
• Electric car charging is available at the public parking area near the cabin, approximately 100 m away. The same area has space for larger vehicles such as snowmobile trailers.
• This is a self-check-in cabin with no front desk.
  

A car is not needed for many Ruka activities. The slopes and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and Ruka Village and the gondola are nearby. Free parking is available next to the cabin. EV charging is available at a public parking area nearby. In winter, please allow extra time for road and weather conditions.

Rukan Naava is located in Ruka Vuosseli, one of the most convenient areas for enjoying Ruka’s slopes, restaurants, trails and nature. The cabin is close to central services but still has a peaceful cabin atmosphere among the trees. The surrounding area offers skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowmobile routes, hiking, biking and year-round access to Kuusamo’s northern nature.
